When you log into the sass-a-thon Blogger account, you see a long list of half finished posts. Fever Pitch, Opening Day, the ring ceremony, Steinbrenner's head exploding...there's a post for everything, but I simply haven't had the time to finish any of them. It's frustrating, because there is some great stuff in there, but it will never see the light of day. The last couple of months have been spent cleaning, packing, selling our house, buying a new house, having yard sales, going to Ranger games, and getting my ass kicked at work, where we are busier than ever. Things should calm down once our move is complete, but until then, bullet pointed thoughts are all I'll have time for.

In happy basketball news, the Sixers will make the playoffs this year, though their spot is still up in the air. They can finish in the 6, 7, or 8 spot in the East. A 6th seed would mean a first round matchup against the Boston Celtics, which would guarantee some dueling blog entries between myself and Kristen. And though he's not being mentioned in MVP talks, Allen Iverson will finish the year as the league's top scorer, becoming only the fourth player in NBA history to win four scoring titles.
And then there is this sight for sore eyes.

In happy baseball news part two:
The Red Sox are hitting like...well, like the Red Sox, Tim Wakefield is throwing like a rejuvinated pitcher who finally won a World Series, the Yankees were swept by the Orioles, and Steinbrenner is pissed.
In happy baseball news part three:
The Yankees won 19-8 last night.
History has taught me that only good things happen when the Yankees win by that score.
