Former Eagles strong safety Andre Waters has reportedly taken his own life. Details are sketchy, but this tragic news certainly puts yesterday's events in perspective.

Well. That sucked. In fact, I'm not sure that game could have sucked more than it did.

The play calling was atrocious, the receivers dropped passes all day long, the defense let at least 5 interceptions fall through their hands, and McNabb was carted off the field with a knee injury.



There's really only one thing left to say today.

Go Colts!

Last season, the Flyers suffered their 11th loss on January 19. This season? It happened last night - November 9.


Speaking of sucking in Philly, the Eagles try to pull themselves out of a massive hole when they take on the Redskins at noon on Sunday. Has Dante Stallworth wiped the butter off his fingers? Has Andy Reid learned how to manage the clock? Has anyone found LJ Smith?

I can't wait to find out...if only because for those three hours, I won't be thinking about the Flyers.
